Any chance of having more than 4 votes for the public backlog please - I have used up my 4 votes on one topic and now unable to vote for areas which are really key for progress to me. With a limited number of treepl members and so many topics requiring votes is it that no one wants areas such as ecommerce developed or have we all just run out of votes?! Thank you
Agree that it might be good to have some more votes. That’s my intuition at least. I’m only able to show my interest in a few critical things that I need done, but there are areas which I more broadly implemented as well.
Any game theorists in here that know what increasing the votes per person would do?
I blew my 4 votes on one topic area, as I hadnt realised that was it, not more votes. I would have used them more sparingly.
You can unvote. Just click on the item that you have vote for.
I feel that fewer votes are better, otherwise it only pushes more “priority” items into the development bottleneck and gives the dev team a harder time to decide what to work on.
Fewer votes keeps only the very top priority items in queue which can then have a better expected delivery date. And if your item/s are delivered your vote is released so you can vote for the next priority item.
More votes just means a bigger queue IMO.
I agree with @Adam.Wilson. By having fewer votes, it tells the treepl team which backlog items are the most important to develop next. It’s the same for my work schedule – I always have more work to do than I can do in just one day. So each day I have to choose which tasks are the most important to work on that day.
